To all members and officers of the VFPASNY there will be a Special Membership meeting January 23, 2010 to give the first reading of the by laws so that they can be voted on at the Annual Convention in May 2010. The meeting will be held at the West Albany Fire Department at 113 Sand Creek Rd. Albany NY 12205. Meeting will start at 10:00AM and finish no later than 1:00 PM.  Coffee and donuts before the meeting and lunch will be provided for a nominal fee, if you have any questions please call (518) 869-5312 for Kathie Wood on directions or food. These by laws were read at the Oct. fall meeting and the Area’s asked to have changes made so that the Directors (Vice Presidents) would be elected in their Area’s (regions). The committee did make the changes that the Area’s had asked for and were sent out to all officers, law committee, and SOG’s committee members. The members gave me the approval to go ahead with the meeting. I would ask that the members be present to hear what is being proposed for the new by laws. Thank you and I hope to see you in Albany.
